Job summary

The Urban League of Greater Southwestern Ohio in Cincinnati seeks a Maintenance Technician to maintain and repair office locations, perform preventative tasks, and support events. A hands-on, independent worker with proactive problem-solving will excel in this role.

Responsibilities include basic plumbing, electrical work, painting, coordinating with contractors, and ensuring safety compliance. Evening/weekend availability and valid driver’s license required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of hands-on maintenance experience.
• Strong knowledge of building systems (plumbing, HVAC, electrical, carpentry).
• Proficiency with hand and electric tools; ability to read blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Handle regular repairs and maintenance jobs (plumbing, electrical, flooring, painting, furniture moves).
• Coordinate with external contractors for projects.
• Process maintenance requests and manage onsite vehicle safety checks.
• Monitor inventory of maintenance supplies and support events as needed.
• Conduct regular facility and safety inspections and respond to emergencies.
