Job summary

Eurofins USA Discovery Services in Fremont, CA requires a full-time Facilities & Safety professional to manage maintenance requests, coordinate with vendors, and support EMS and safety initiatives. The role covers lab and office needs, equipment calibration, and IT support during moves.

The candidate will ensure timely responses, enforce GMP/GLP as appropriate, and uphold high standards of safety and security across facilities. Competitive hourly pay and full benefits accompany the position.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of facilities & safety related experience.
• Valid driver’s license with proof of insurance.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Receives work order requests for facilities maintenance from employees.
• Point of contact for lab/office needs and problem resolution.
• Responds to inquiries and issues; prioritizes customer service and resolution.
• Supports safety audits, office moves, equipment calibration and cleaning services.
• Assists IT with desktop configuration during moves.
• Inspects and performs preventative maintenance on facilities and systems.
• Oversees vendor coordination and timely completion of maintenance tasks.
• Maintains safety and security policies and emergency response coordination.
