Job summary

Diamondback Energy is seeking a hands-on Building & Corporate Services Technician to support building maintenance, moving, construction projects, meeting prep, and ad hoc activities on site in Oklahoma City. You will manage vendors, obtain materials, and perform routine maintenance while ensuring safe, reliable facilities operations.

The role requires strong mechanical aptitude, customer-service orientation, and effective communication with employees and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; equivalent experience considered.
• At least one year hands-on building maintenance, construction or related technical work.
• Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, painting, drywall and related systems.
• Ability to safely operate common hand and power tools.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds; climb ladders; work at varying heights.
• Customer-service orientation with professional communication.
• Willingness to participate in rotating on-call schedule including evenings/weekends.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the work of vendors and service providers as needed.
• Obtain materials and supplies and perform routine maintenance activities.
• Serve as primary contact for building maintenance inquiries such as minor plumbing/electrical issues, renovations, furniture repair.
• Assist with preventive maintenance and minor repairs including HVAC systems and building automation.
• Communicate with facilities management about work requiring outside contractor support.
• Recommend facilities solutions and approaches that add value for the Company.
• Create and maintain relationships with HR, Safety and Security, and other teams.
