Job summary

This role is responsible for performing preventative maintenance, supporting facility improvement projects, and ensuring all systems and infrastructure operate efficiently.

Qualifications

• Two or more maintenance trades certification or knowledge.
• Minimum 2 years of related manufacturing maintenance or facilities experience.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, and project management tools.
• Strong planning, organizational, and time-management skills.
• Willingness to participate in on-call rotation and after-hours support.
• Valid state driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Support all facility maintenance activities, repairs, and improvement projects across company buildings and rental properties.
• Assist in defining project goals, specifications, and coordinating internal and external resources.
• Coordinate with department managers and subcontractors to ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and to quality standards.
• Obtain and review subcontractor quotes; monitor performance to ensure compliance with project expectations.
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on facility systems, including pumps, tanks, air, water, piping, and exhaust systems.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and plumbing issues as needed.
• Provide day‑to‑day facility support and respond to emergency repair situations in a timely manner.
• Maintain and support recycling and waste‑management programs for the facility and laboratories.
• Support safety programs, inspections, and compliance initiatives.
• Ensure overall facility quality standards are maintained or improved.
