Job summary

Regard Healthcare in Texas is seeking a Facility Technician to maintain safety, functionality, and appearance of the facility, including buildings, grounds, and equipment.

You will perform routine repairs (electrical, plumbing, carpentry, drywall, painting), complete preventative maintenance, respond to requests, coordinate with vendors, operate tools, and support safety inspections and events.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 years of maintenance, facilities, construction, or related experience preferred.
• Current First Aid and CPR certification required or ability to obtain upon hire.
• HVAC certification preferred.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
• Strong communication, customer service, and problem‑solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on facility buildings, grounds, and equipment (electrical, plumbing, carpentry, drywall, painting).
• Complete preventative maintenance activities to ensure a safe, functional environment.
• Respond to maintenance requests and document completed work.
• Coordinate with outside vendors and contractors for repairs beyond internal scope.
• Operate and maintain maintenance equipment.
• Assist with seasonal duties and safety inspections.
• Support facility setup for meetings and events.
• Communicate facility needs with management.
• Complete required training and comply with company policies.
• Promote a safe, clean, and professional environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
