Job summary

EPRI in Charlotte, NC seeks a Technician, Facilities to perform comprehensive maintenance on building systems and equipment. You will troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and structural components and coordinate with vendors to ensure high safety and quality standards.

The role requires a high school diploma with at least 2 years in building maintenance; vocational training is preferred. Proficiency with MS Office and safe operation of lift equipment is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma with at least 2 years of general building maintenance experience.
• Vocational/technical diploma in building trades preferred.
• Ability to read and follow specifications and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and structural components.
• Perform facilities maintenance and proactive repair work.
• Direct outside vendors and oversee contractors.
• Interact with managers, staff, vendors, and contractors in writing and verbally.
• Maintain safety, quality standards, and records of maintenance.
• Use MS Office to document work and track tasks.
