Job summary

Paylocity is seeking a Maintenance Technician to sustain campus appearance, buildings, grounds, and infrastructure. The role covers a range of trades including painting, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, HVAC and general mechanical repairs.

The technician will work independently or with others, participate in long-term projects, and attend trainings. A valid driver’s license is required, and the position involves weekend and after-hours work as needed.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in grounds keeping, painting, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, HVAC and mechanical repairs.
• Requires ability to interpret data, oral and written.

Responsibilities

• Completes daily maintenance duties such as trash removal, building repairs, responding to maintenance calls and snow removal.
• Participates in long-term maintenance projects, such as repair/remodel of rooms, buildings and improvements to grounds and infrastructure.
• Operates equipment safely, including trucks, ground equipment, carpentry tools, etc.
• Completes routine maintenance of equipment to ensure good working condition.
• Maintains a clean and safe working environment, including vehicle construction areas.
• Performs maintenance/repairs in groundskeeping, painting, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, HVAC and mechanical areas as needed.
• Works independently or as a team to complete assignments in a timely manner.
• Attends and participates in meetings and training sessions.
• Willing to work weekends, evenings, nights and holidays as part of a 24-hour operation.
