Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and remodel repairs on facilities.
• Diagnose equipment failures and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime.
• Conduct preventive maintenance and inspections according to established schedules.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Install, modify, and upgrade facility systems as needed.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to support equipment reliability and process improvements.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and update CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System).
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, lockout/tagout procedures, and environmental standards.
• Train and mentor junior facility staff.
• Respond to emergency breakdowns and support off-shift coverage as required.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Facilities Technician III is a senior-level technician responsible for performing complex maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair tasks on manufacturing equipment, systems, and infrastructure. This role ensures optimal equipment performance, supports preventive maintenance programs, and contributes to continuous improvement initiatives across the facility.

RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES

• Perform advanced mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and remodel repairs on all facilities
• Diagnose equipment failures and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime
• Conduct preventive maintenance and inspections according to established schedules
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
• Install, modify, and upgrade facility systems as needed
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to support equipment reliability and process improvements
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and update CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System)
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, lockout/tagout procedures, and environmental standards
• Train and mentor junior facility staff
• Respond to emergency breakdowns and support off-shift coverage as required

• Proficiency in troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and control systems
• Proficiency with plumbing, electrical and HVAC systems, all other facility systems
• Familiarity with CMMS platforms and maintenance documentation
• Ability to operate forklifts, scissor lifts, and other industrial equipment (certification preferred)
