Job summary

Qualifications

  • Lead advanced diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repair of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and PLC-controlled systems.

  • Coordinate predictive and preventive maintenance to minimize downtime.
  • Interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and blueprints to guide repairs.
  • Ensure safety and environmental standards are met and CMMS records are maintained.

This role requires independent decision-making, leadership on projects, and collaboration with both the Maintenance Manager and cross-functional departments.

Essential Job Functions
  • Lead advanced diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repair of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and PLC-controlled systems.
  • Serve as a lead technician on critical repair work and major equipment overhauls.
  • Coordinate and execute predictive and preventive maintenance tasks to minimize unplanned downtime.
  • Mentor and provide hands‑on training to Tech I and Tech II team members.
  • Support planning and execution of capital improvement projects and equipment installations.
  • Collaborate with Engineering and Production to improve equipment performance and reliability.
  • Perform precision alignment, calibration, and instrumentation tasks.
  • Interpret complex technical documents, wiring diagrams, schematics, and blueprints.
  • Lead root cause failure analysis and implement long‑term corrective actions.
  • Ensure maintenance activities comply with all safety and environmental standards.
  • Manage CMMS documentation for critical repairs and equipment history tracking.
  • Support spare parts identification and procurement through collaboration with Maintenance Planner or Inventory Coordinator.
  • Recommend and help implement process improvements and standard work instructions.

Education
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

High School Diploma or equivalent is required

Technical certification, or associate degree in a related field preferred.

Experience

At least 6 to 8 years of relevant work experience is preferred
