Qualifications

• High school or trade school diploma; license in specific specialty preferred with 4+ years of experience.
• Solid knowledge of building codes and OSHA requirements; safe working practices.
• Good oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Set up, maintain and/or repair equipment and/or systems within the facility within area of expertise.
• Follow maintenance schedule to ensure regular and preventive maintenance work assignments are completed when required.
• Perform service calls, repairs, and equipment installations as directed.
• Perform troubleshooting, diagnostic evaluations, and routine inspections on physical plant systems and equipment as required.
• Maintain an inventory of parts and tools, and keep assigned storage areas clean and organized.
• Follow company and departmental policies, procedures, and guidelines in daily work routines and assignments.
• Perform all work in accordance with established safety procedures.
• Complete appropriate paperwork for the purchase, stocking, and/or use of materials, parts, and components for work orders.
• Ensure work orders contain accurate information before submitting completed work orders.
• May lead less experienced employees.
• Recommends cost savings strategies that do not compromise quality and safety.
• Support and communicate the mission, values and culture of the organization.
• Perform other related tasks or special duties as assigned.
