Job summary

Empath Health is seeking a Facilities Technician II in Sarasota, FL to perform routine repairs and maintenance across buildings and grounds. The role requires hands-on capability across multiple trades, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry, with travel to other locations using a company vehicle.

Ideal candidates have 2–3 years of maintenance experience, strong customer service, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

2–3 years of maintenance experience.
General knowledge of maintenance functions including electrical, plumbing, painting, wall repair, equipment and shelving installation, and grounds maintenance.
High school diploma or GED.
Valid driver\'s license and proof of automobile insurance.
Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Diagnose problems and perform repairs on equipment, fixtures, and building systems.
Analyze maintenance needs and make recommendations for cost-effective solutions.
Assemble and install equipment and utilize working knowledge of multiple trades, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and building construction methods.
Ensure equipment, fixtures, and facilities remain in safe and proper working condition.
Travel to Empath Health locations as needed; a company vehicle is provided for work-related travel.
