Summary: The Maintenance Technician will perform quality routine and preventive maintenance and repairs across several buildings and properties to ensure a safe environment for all. Pay is dependent upon experience and credentials.

Requirements

• Perform quality routine, preventive, and emergency maintenance and repairs in Sarasota (building and equipment)
• Troubleshoot and repair building and facility equipment
• Ensure safety of work area and equipment
• Assist with grounds maintenance

Experience & Education

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Minimum five years of multi-faceted property maintenance experience required

Competencies

• Working knowledge of general building systems
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
• Effective time management and adaptability in changing environments
• Experience with facilities databases and Outlook
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

Work Environment / Physical Expectations

• Frequent standing, walking, lifting, climbing, kneeling, squatting, and use of maintenance tools
• Ability to lift and move materials and equipment
• Exposure to varying indoor and outdoor environments year-round
