Job summary

Evergreen Goodwill of Northwest Washington is seeking a Facilities Technician II to maintain Seattle stores, properties, and equipment. The role involves carpentry, plumbing, electrical work and welding, with responsibility for building maintenance and repairs.

The position requires reading blueprints, strong maintenance knowledge, and the ability to work independently or with a team. A valid WA driver’s license and safety awareness are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; technical training or equivalent experience.
• At least 3 years of maintenance experience.
• Strong knowledge of carpentry, plumbing, electrical, HVAC and related systems.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
• Able to work independently and manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Perform skilled maintenance in carpentry, plumbing, electrical, welding and mechanical trades.
• Maintain equipment and facilities, including store furniture and fixtures.
• Execute safety protocols and maintain clean, organized work areas.
• Read plans, estimate parts, and coordinate with the Facilities team.
• Operate light trucks and a range of field tools as needed.
• Support on-call and weekend work as required.
