Job summary

Goodwill of the Olympics and Rainier Region (GORR) seeks a Maintenance Technician to keep our Washington facilities in top condition. You will process work orders in Bluefolder, perform maintenance tasks across electrical, plumbing, HVAC, painting, and carpentry, and help set priorities with supervision.

The role emphasizes facility upkeep, safety, customer service, and teamwork with apprentices, with a competitive hourly rate and growth opportunities within Goodwill.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• At least three years of maintenance experience in similar facilities.
• Knowledge of construction methods, materials and equipment.
• Ability to read plans and follow instructions for repairs.
• Safety regulations and building codes knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain facilities and respond to work orders using Bluefolder.
• Perform electrical, plumbing, HVAC, painting, and carpentry tasks.
• Inspect and repair buildings, grounds, and equipment as needed.
• Organize resources and set priorities for projects.
• Provide leadership to Apprentices and co-workers.
• Follow safe work practices and maintain professional customer relations.
