Job summary

The Scion Group LLC is hiring a Facilities Technician II to support maintenance, preventive tasks, turnovers, and supplies, ensuring safety and functionality of the property’s buildings and equipment to deliver excellent service to our residents.

The role requires experience in a fast-paced, collegiate environment with strong problem solving and technical abilities; duties include BAS, Entrata, CMMS, life safety systems, and coordinating with vendors under the Facilities Supervisor.

Qualifications

• High school/GED or trade school diploma; 3–5 years of maintenance experience.
• HVAC certification and EPA 608 certification (Core, I, II, III).
• Certified Pool Operator or plan to obtain within six months.
• Clear communication skills and ability to work under deadlines.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel as required.
• Familiarity with Entrata, CMMS and BAS is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate proficiency in BAS, Entrata and CMMS for logging service requests and work.
• Maintain property per SOP, OSHA and industry standards.
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on building systems.
• Coordinate with vendors and scheduling under the Facilities Supervisor.
• Inspect vacated apartments and record repairs for turnover.
• Document work, parts used, and materials needed daily.
