Job summary

The Tulalip Tribes is hiring a Facilities Maintenance Technician to maintain and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and fire/life safety systems across tribal buildings. You will perform basic repairs such as painting, carpentry, and mechanical upkeep while keeping a safe environment and open communications with other departments.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, with about 1 year remodeling experience and comfort with Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• One year remodeling experience with plumbing/electrical focus preferred.
• Experience in commercial facilities and handling confidential information preferred.
• Computer experience with Microsoft Office preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair mechanical systems including HVAC, plumbing, electrical and fire/life safety.
• Perform basic facility repairs such as painting, carpentry, and mechanical upkeep.
• Maintain safe environment in Tribal buildings and complete daily work orders promptly.
• Coordinate with other departments and interact with tribal community as needed.
