Tlingit Haida Tribal Business Corporation (THTBC) is seeking an HVAC Mechanic to maintain and repair HVAC and environmental-control systems at our facilities. The role requires independent work, strong time-management, and adherence to safety standards.

You will perform wiring, piping, and mechanical tasks while ensuring compliance with the Public Trust clearance and CBA labor guidelines. The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of related experience, a high school diploma, and EPA

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Graduate of an accredited technical school.
• EPA required certification training.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are a must.
• Must have a valid drivers license.

Responsibilities

• Installs, services, and repairs HVAC environmental-control systems.
• Performs startup, turnover, and shutdown procedures of environmental control systems.
• Connects motors, compressors, and controls to power sources.
• Assembles and installs ductwork and chassis parts using welding equipment.
• Tests for leaks and observes gauges to ensure proper operation.
• Documents maintenance actions in IEMS system.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
