Job summary

COPT DEFENSE PROPERTIES, LP is seeking a Facilities/Property Maintenance Technician at National Business Park, Annapolis Junction, MD. You will assist with repairs, maintenance, and safety compliance to preserve building operations.

Responsibilities include inspections, minor repairs, preventive maintenance, and support for events and security. Requires a high school diploma, 0–1 year experience, and a valid driver’s license. Competitive benefits offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• CFC certificate and apprentice license preferred.
• 0–1 year of work experience or completed vocational training.
• Basic PC skills and ability to learn company software.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with minor building repairs (carpentry, painting, hardware).
• Ensure work meets safety codes.
• Inspect premises daily and maintain appearance.
• Assist with preventive maintenance of building systems.
• Report problems to Chief Building Technician.
• Aid with special events and security needs.
• Investigate alarms and life/safety situations.
• Maintain tools, parts, and supplies.
• Carry out other duties as needed.
