Job summary

The City of Allen is seeking a maintenance technician to care for the Credit Union of Texas Event Center and community ice rink. You will handle HVAC, refrigeration, electrical, and plumbing tasks to keep facilities in top condition and support events.

Requires a high school diploma or equivalent with 2 years of relevant experience, plus an ammonia refrigeration certification or ability to obtain within a year. Some evening/weekend/on-call shifts apply.

Qualifications

• Education & experience required: High School diploma or equivalent plus two years of relevant work experience.
• Certification: Basic Ammonia Refrigeration or ability to obtain within one year.
• Requires varying schedule including evenings, weekends, holidays, and on-call.

Responsibilities

• Maintains interior/exterior and facility systems, including HVAC, refrigeration, electrical, and plumbing.
• Repairs floors, fixtures, water fountains, pumps, doors, and hardware; basic carpentry tasks.
• Monitors and maintains ice package system and assists with events.
