Job summary

KHFS in Spokane is seeking a Facility Technician to maintain HVAC, electrical, plumbing and general building operations across multiple tenants. You will promptly respond to work orders, log time in Corrigo, and communicate status to Property Managers and tenants to ensure smooth operations.

Ideal candidates will have basic building operations knowledge and mechanical skills, with a willingness to obtain required licenses within specified timelines.

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of building operations and mechanical skills.
• Familiarity with building systems and preventive maintenance.
• Licenses and certifications required within specified timelines.

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to work orders and tenant requests.
• Enter work time in Corrigo Work Order for payroll.
• Operate HVAC and energy management systems; maintain comfort.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance per manufacturer guidelines.
• Maintain Operations and Maintenance manuals and equipment lists.
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors ensuring safety and compliance.
• Communicate status to Property Manager and tenants.
• Maintain building directories and signage.
• Perform light plumbing, electrical, carpentry tasks as needed.
• Ensure snow removal and grounds safety.
• Notify Property Manager of accidents; complete safety reports.
