Edward M. Kennedy Community Health Center, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician based in Framingham and Milford, MA to perform maintenance, repairs, inspections and preventive work across Kennedy facilities.

The role ensures buildings and equipment are safe, functional and compliant through timely work orders and routine inspections. Ideal candidates have experience with preventive maintenance, strong troubleshooting and documentation skills, and the ability to work independently while

Qualifications

• Experience with preventive maintenance, inspections, and facility repairs.
• Strong troubleshooting, organization, and documentation skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and communicate effectively with staff.
• Healthcare or commercial facility experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and work orders for buildings, equipment, and facility systems.
• Complete basic carpentry, electrical, plumbing, painting, and general building repairs.
• Maintain facility grounds, including snow removal, sidewalks, parking areas, and grounds equipment.
• Conduct preventive maintenance, inspections, and operational testing of facility equipment and life safety systems.
• Document maintenance activities, inspections, testing, and repairs using maintenance management systems.
• Support regulatory compliance by maintaining records and assisting with required inspections and testing.
• Collaborate with the Facilities team, vendors, and staff to maintain safe, functional facilities across Kennedy Community Health locations.
