Job summary

Artesia Palms Care Center in is seeking a Maintenance Worker to preserve grounds, facilities, and equipment in a safe, efficient manner, adhering to federal, state, and local standards and our policies. You will coordinate with nursing services, perform routine tasks, change lighting, and maintain resident comfort.

The role requires no supervisory duties, a minimum 10th grade education, and the ability to handle diverse tasks in a care facility setting.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Maintain grounds and facility to ensure safety and cleanliness.
• Follow maintenance schedules and report accidents/incidents promptly.
• Perform routine maintenance on plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and mechanical systems.
• Replace burned-out lights and service heating/cooling units as directed.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident care information and report security concerns.
