Job summary

PARK PLACE HEALTH MANAGEMENT LLC is seeking a Maintenance Technician to uphold the grounds, facility and equipment in a safe, compliant manner within a healthcare setting. You will support routine and preventive maintenance, respond to repairs, and coordinate with inspectors, contractors and vendors as directed.

The role requires reading and following instructions, good English communication, and the ability to work extended hours as needed to ensure resident safety and facility operations.

Qualifications

• Must possess, as a minimum, a 10th grade education.
• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand the English language.
• Must be able to follow written and oral instructions.
• Must be able to relate information concerning a resident’s condition.
• Must not pose a direct threat to the health or safety of others in the workplace.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the grounds, facility and equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
• Maintain on-call hours and respond to emergency requests for repairs.
• Assist inspectors, outside contractors and vendors as directed.
• Service heating and cooling units/systems and obtain HVAC certifications as required.
• Report equipment malfunctions or breakdowns to your supervisor as soon as possible.
