Job summary

Charlesbridge is seeking a Facilities Technician to perform a full range of rough carpentry, interior and exterior repairs, and related installations including systems furniture, flooring, and cove base. The role supports maintenance across buildings and grounds and participates in events and after-hours on-call.

Responsibilities include electrical and plumbing tasks, painting, and upkeep of grounds and vehicles.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Valid Driver’s License and use of personal automobile.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedures manuals.

Responsibilities

• Complete all internal Company training as assigned and required.
• Adhere to the Company’s privacy and data security policies including safeguarding of information.
• Exhibit the ability to embrace and enhance the Company culture.
• Performs minor electrical maintenance using hand, power and specialty tools.
• Performs minor plumbing maintenance and repairs.
• Prepares surfaces and paints structures to preserve wood and metal parts.
• Landscaping and grounds keeping; keep sidewalks, driveways, parking lots maintained.
• Participate in seasonal and special event preparation and cleanup.
• Participate in Department on-call and after-hour requirements.
• Maintains service and repair records and Purchase Orders.
• Respond to routine calls for repairs, service and janitorial needs.
