Job summary

Guest Services Inc. is seeking a Facility Maintenance Technician to perform routine buildings and grounds maintenance, including painting, drywall repair, concrete finishing, and diagnose/repair kitchen and HVAC equipment.

The role requires a High School Diploma and at least 2 years in maintenance or carpentry, with flexibility for weekends and overtime. The technician will use MS Office tools, maintain logs, and assist with landscaping and custodial tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma is required.
• At least 2 years of facility maintenance or carpentry experience.
• Able to work flexible schedule including weekends, holidays, overtime.
• Able to safely use hand and power tools.
• Basic Computer Skills (Excel, Word).
• Ability to speak, read, write and communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Paint and stain interior and exterior of buildings.
• Repair walls and flooring as needed.
• Perform woodworking tasks.
• Form and pour concrete for small slabs and footings.
• Replace and fix plumbing fixtures.
• Record work using Maintenance Management Software.
• Conduct weekly facility maintenance inspections.
• Assist staff with facility recycling program.
• Occasionally assist with landscaping, mowing, snow removal and plowing.
• Perform custodial tasks as needed.
• Carry out other duties as assigned by the Facility Maintenance Supervisor.
