Job summary

Child & Family Services seeks a General Maintenance Technician to perform skilled and semi-skilled building maintenance, repair, and construction tasks in mechanical, electrical, and building trades. The role supports the Buildings and Grounds supervisor and participates in quality improvement activities across agency sites.

The shift is Monday–Friday, 6:00 am–2:30 pm. Competitive pay with benefits including PTO, health, life, dental, and vision insurance, plus retirement options.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge in trades such as drywall, electrical, plumbing and carpentry.
• Ability to operate painting equipment, sprayers, scaffolds and ladders.

Responsibilities

• Perform carpentry, electrical, plumbing, painting, and related work as directed by the Facilities manager.
• Follow safety guidelines in completing duties.
• Use, clean and store equipment properly.
• Complete duties in a timely and responsible manner.
• Operate maintenance equipment (saws, power tools, etc.).
• Move about multi-level buildings and use ladders as needed.
• Demonstrate dependability and punctuality.
• Show respect and courtesy in all interactions.
