Job summary

Happy State Bank in Tampa, FL is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician to provide maintenance services across branch locations. You will perform carpentry, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, painting, and safety-related repairs to keep facilities safe, clean, and functional.

The role requires hands-on skills with tools, the ability to read blueprints, and basic clerical duties such as logging work and tickets in Service Now.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED plus specialized schooling and/or on the job education in a specific skill area; 5 years related experience and/or training, and 2 years related management experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic carpentry repair of structures.
• Perform basic electrical repair work for switches, outlets, and lighting systems.
• Identify and repair plumbing leaks and maintain lines.
• Repair and maintain hot water heaters and appliances.
• Paint and prepare surfaces; remove graffiti.
• Respond to emergency situations during and after hours to resolve safety concerns.
• Maintain assigned vehicle and logs; complete tickets in Service Now.
