Happy State Bank is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician to provide maintenance services across branch locations. You will perform carpentry, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general repair tasks, ensuring safety and operational readiness.

The role requires hands-on problem solving, ticketed work, and reliable documentation of activities. Responsibilities include responding to safety concerns, maintaining vehicles and equipment, and coordinating with teams to minimize downtime.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with on-the-job training in a skilled trade.
• 5 years related experience and/or training, plus 2 years related management experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic carpentry repairs on structures, walls, doors, and furniture.
• Repair electrical systems including switches, outlets, and lighting.
• Address plumbing leaks and maintain fixtures.
• Maintain and repair HVAC systems and water heaters.
• Prepare surfaces for painting and finish work.
• Respond to safety concerns and report unsafe conditions.
• Complete service tickets and maintain documentation.
• Operate and maintain assigned vehicles and equipment.
