Job summary

JLL is seeking a Building Maintenance Technician in Lexington, KY, to perform reactive and preventive work on building and manufacturing line systems. The role requires maintaining and repairing HVAC, electrical, plumbing, lighting, and related components, with emergency response duties as needed.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, trade/vocational training, and at least three years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; trade/vocational training/certifications preferred.
• Minimum three years of relevant maintenance experience preferred.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Perform ongoing reactive and preventive work orders on building systems and manufacturing line equipment.
• Maintain, operate, and repair building and manufacturing line systems including electrical, plumbing, lighting, and HVAC components.
• Respond effectively to emergencies and coordinate with engineering teams when needed.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain good housekeeping in work areas.
• Utilize building automation and fire/life safety systems; report and resolve issues promptly.
