Job description

Join to apply for the Facilities Technician role at Lowlands Group.

Lowlands Group is seeking a dedicated Facilities Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate is a multi-tasker, deadline-driven, proactive, and possesses excellent maintenance skills with relevant field experience.

The responsibilities of the Facilities Maintenance Technician include, but are not limited to:

  1. General maintenance and repair of buildings, facilities, equipment, and grounds.
  2. Performing tasks such as carpentry, electrical, plumbing, glazier, masonry, and painting.
  3. Assisting in moving furniture and equipment.
  4. Identifying projects that require specialized skills and exercising discretion.
  5. Updating work logs and maintaining safe, clean work sites.

The technician will collaborate with the Facilities Engineer and report to the Director of Architecture & Construction.

Outstanding candidates will have:

  1. Knowledge of maintenance methods and skills in trades like carpentry, forklift operation, plumbing, glass replacement, painting, masonry, groundskeeping, appliance repair, and electrical wiring.
  2. Proficiency with hand and power tools.
  3. A valid Wisconsin driver’s license.
  4. Willingness to work outdoors in inclement weather.
  5. OHSA 10 Certification.
  6. Strong verbal communication skills for collaboration.
  7. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  8. Subject to background check.
