Kalahari Resorts & Conventions delivers a waterpark resort and conference experience all under one roof. The resort, with its African-inspired design, is home to America’s largest indoor waterparks and features well-appointed guest rooms, full-service Spa Kalahari, a fun-filled family entertainment center, on-site signature restaurants, unique retail shops and a state-of-the-art convention center.

We are inviting you to apply for the ResortMaintenance Tech position. I n this role, you will be responsible for performing skilled repairs to the fixtures, furniture, and equipment in the sleeping rooms of the resort and condominiums and to always maintain the best possible conditions with the least amount of inconvenience to guests and associates.

Repairs may include but not limited to the following:

  • programming televisions
  • replacing light switches, light bulbs, and fixtures
  • furniture repair
  • plumbing repairs such as: clogged drains, copper pipe, change washers, change handles, drain fittings, etc.
  • repair water lines
  • test-clean-repair swimming pools and spas
  • paint designated areas
  • repair and finish sheet rock and other wall coverings
  • repair and program hotel electronic systems

We require that you have background, consisting of one year’s experience in carpentry, painting, electrical, appliance repair, and a valid Driver's License. Trade School and/or College course work in related field or previous hospitality experience is helpful.
