Job summary

Aerotek is seeking a Facilities Technician for a consistent night shift in Portage, IN. This role focuses on hands-on maintenance, repairs, installations, and remodel work across commercial facilities.

You’ll perform carpentry tasks, fixture installations, drywall finishing, painting, and basic plumbing/electrical fixes. Ideal candidates have experience in facilities maintenance or related trades, can read blueprints, and work well in a team.

What You'll Be Doing

This is far more than a typical maintenance position. You'll work alongside an experienced technician performing a variety of projects, including:

• Facilities maintenance and repair projects

Schedule

Night Shift

• Monday Night through Friday Morning
• Start times typically between 7:00 PM and 10:00 PM
• End times generally between 3:00 AM and 6:00 AM
• No weekends currently required

This schedule is ideal for candidates who enjoy having their days free while working consistent overnight hours.

Work Environment

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Portage, IN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $26.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
