Job Title: Facilities Technician - Up to $28/hr

Job Description

A medical manufacturer is seeking a Facilities Technician to support their headquarters and additional sites in St. Paul and Arden Hills. The role involves maintaining and repairing facilities, ensuring smooth operations, and delivering exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Repair sheetrock, perform drywall patching and taping, and painting.
• Assist with general carpentry tasks, plumbing, and garage door repairs.
• Change HVAC filters and perform general plumbing duties along with minor electrical repairs.
• Manage incoming work orders and execute routine preventative maintenance tasks.
• Provide customer service, coordinate with vendors, and act as a liaison for subcontractors when needed.

Essential Skills

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in facilities maintenance or carpentry-related tasks.
• Ability to document preventative maintenance tasks and coordinate with vendors.
• Customer service skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with plumbing, HVAC, and repairing doors and garage doors.

Work Environment

This role operates on a 2nd shift schedule, Monday to Friday from 11:30 am to 8:00 pm, and involves roving between St. Paul and Arden Hills locations. The maintenance team comprises six members, but the role is fairly independent. There may be rare on‑call rotations in the future.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $29.00/hr.
