Job summary

NCSS is seeking a Facilities Technician to support agency locations across Franklin and Chittenden Counties in Vermont. The role involves general repairs and maintenance, troubleshooting HVAC, electrical and plumbing issues, inspections, and small construction projects.

You will identify future building needs and coordinate contractors and vendors. Candidates should be self-directed, dependable, mechanically inclined, and comfortable using an electronic work order system and basic technology.

Responsibilities include general repairs and maintenance, troubleshooting basic HVAC, electrical and plumbing issues, completing inspections and small construction projects, identifying future building needs, and coordinating contractors and vendors.Candidates must be self-directed, dependable, mechanically inclined, and comfortable using an electronic work order system and basic technology. Experience with project management, building automation systems, ADA requirements, and VOSHA compliance is a plus.A valid driver’s license is required.1-3 years of related experience is preferred, and a trade or technical background is a plus.
