Job summary

Innova Solutions is seeking a Facilities Technician in Plano, TX (Onsite/1st shift 7AM-4:30PM). You will maintain and repair facility structures, equipment, and grounds across multiple trades, and perform carpentry or painting for construction or repairs.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent with 4+ years of relevant experience, or 2 years post-secondary with 0–2 years related experience; HVAC experience is preferred. W‑2 engagement only.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent with 4+ years of related experience, or 2 years post-secondary/associates with 0–2 years related experience.
• HVAC experience is preferred and advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair facility structures, equipment and grounds across multiple trades (mechanical, plumbing, etc.).
• Perform carpentry or painting for construction, repair or alteration of walls, roofs or office fixtures.
• Conduct routine or special inspections to prevent breakdowns of facilities and equipment.
• Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, layouts, drawings and specifications.
• Know and comply with relevant standards or regulations; may require trade certifications.

A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring a Facilities Technician.

Position Type: Full time, Contract to Hire Duration: 12months Location: Plano, TX 75074 (Onsite/1st shift 7AM-4:30PM)

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the maintenance and repair of the facility's structure, equipment and grounds, including all trades (mechanical, plumbing, etc.).
• Performs trades work, such as carpentry or painting, in the construction, repair or alteration of structures such as walls, roofs or office fixtures.
• Conducts routine, periodic, or special inspections to determine repair and maintenance work necessary to prevent breakdowns of facilities, machinery, and equipment.
• Uses blueprints, sketches, layouts, drawings, and specifications.
• Requires knowledge of applicable standards or regulations and may require specific trade certifications.

Ideal Candidate

• High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 4 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience.
• HVAC experience.

This position is only open to applicants who can be engaged on a W-2 basis.

Pay Range

Pay Range*: $21-$22/hr

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
