Job summary

Client in Oxford, OH is seeking a Facilities Technician to join the maintenance team in a historic building. You will support operations, perform preventative maintenance, and promote safety.

This role requires 3+ years of hands-on experience, HVAC knowledge, CMMS proficiency, and a proactive attitude. Onsite parking is available and there may be contract-to-perm conversion after an initial period.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years hands-on construction and maintenance experience.
• Knowledge of HVAC systems and electrical troubleshooting.
• Ability to operate CMMS and basic computer programs.

Job description

Our client, a leading facilities management organization, is seeking a Facilities Technicianto join their team. As a Facilities Technician, you will be part of the maintenance department supporting the operational integrity of a large, historic building. The ideal candidate will demonstrate initiative, technical proficiency, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Location: Oxford, OH

Pay Range: $30-34/hour

Shift: Thursday-Sunday 10am to 8pm

• Promote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures.
• Complete preventative maintenance routines with proper documentation.
• Record readings and make adjustments to ensure proper operation of equipment.
• Use appropriate tools to troubleshoot simple electrical circuits and HVAC systems.
• Perform repairs and general maintenance tasks on building components and operational equipment.

What's Needed?

• At least 3 years of hands-on construction and maintenance experience.
• Knowledge of HVAC systems, electrical troubleshooting, and general handyman skills.
• Ability to operate basic computer programs and systems, including CMMS.
• Strong work ethic, dependability, and a friendly, customer-focused attitude.
• Physical ability to perform labor tasks including bending, lifting over 50 lbs, and handling tools.
