Join to apply for the Facilities Technician role at Flex.

Shift: 6am-6pm (Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and every other Wednesday)

General Purpose: Repairs, modifications, and preventative maintenance on building and facilities equipment, fixtures, and systems.

Principle Accountabilities:

1. Responds to service calls and in-house repairs throughout the facility.
2. Troubleshoots, responds to work orders, repairs systems and equipment.
3. Installs office fixtures and performs work in various maintenance trades including mechanical, electrical, and plumbing.
4. Moves furniture, materials, and equipment as part of routine assignments.
5. Conducts scheduled preventative maintenance and cleans up after breakdowns.
6. Communicates with equipment operators to diagnose problems and determine if issues are due to human error or mechanical failure.
7. Tests faulty equipment, diagnoses causes of malfunctions, and applies knowledge of electronic systems.
8. Replaces defective components and wiring, and adjusts mechanical parts.
9. Aligns, adjusts, and calibrates equipment according to specifications.
10. Calibrates testing instruments and maintains records of repairs, calibrations, and tests.
11. Enters information into computer systems for programming, schematics, or modifications.
12. Oversees emergency system backups and ensures all systems (plumbing, sewer, water, electrical, mechanical) are functional.
