This hands-on role maintains toll plazas and DOT offices, ensuring safety for the public and staff, with a company vehicle, tools, and training provided. Based in South Florida, Broward/Palm Beach Counties, the position covers outdoor work and requires HVAC, electrical, generator, roofing, plumbing, and building trade skills.

Qualifications

• EPA Certified HVAC/CRAC units with preventative and corrective maintenance.
• Electrical troubleshooting including fixtures, ballasts, outlets, switches, and breakers.
• Generators: maintenance, repair and emergency service responsibilities.
• Roofing maintenance, repairs and troubleshooting.
• Plumbing: minor repair of toilets, sinks, fixtures.
• Experience using and troubleshooting mobile applications on iOS/Android.
• Familiarity with UPS and fire/safety systems.
• General building upkeep: doors, hardware, furniture, bulletin boards.
• Troubleshooting: diagnose problems, take meter readings.
• Oversight of subcontractors as needed.
• Ability to work outdoors.
• Self-starter with strong customer interface and scheduling.
• English language required; bilingual preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform hands-on maintenance of toll plazas and DOT offices.
• Ensure safety of yourself and the traveling public.
• Provide exceptional customer service while maintaining facilities.
• Operate with company vehicle and use provided tools.
• Schedule includes day shift; nights and weekends as needed.
