Job summary

Carolina Hurricanes seeks a Facilities Maintenance Technician II to perform skilled maintenance and advanced repair of mechanical, electrical, HVAC and other facility systems with minimal supervision. You will troubleshoot and repair components in line with SOPs, building codes and safety protocols.

The role supports on-call rotations, meetings/trainings, and inventory maintenance. A high school diploma is preferred, with 5+ years of electrical and/or HVAC experience, ability to lift 50 lbs, and

Qualifications

• 5+ years of electrical and/or HVAC experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Candidate must have knowledge of basic mathematical skills.
• Must be able to lift objects up to 50 lbs and stand/bend/stoop for long periods.
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays around events.

Responsibilities

• Follow dress and behavioral codes.
• Attend meetings and training classes to keep up to date on building policies and procedures.
• Participate in the facilities on call rotation.
• Maintain inventory of all equipment and tools.
