Job summary

Unity Hospital in Rochester is seeking a General Facilities Tech to maintain a safe, functional environment for patients and staff. This per diem role supports maintenance, equipment checks, room turnover, transport of patients and specimens, and occasional security duties.

The position requires excellent customer service, clear communication, and physical ability for routine lifting and moving. Hours are 7:30am to 4:00pm at Wegman Family Cottages Park Ridge Living Center.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of related field experience.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

• Must be able to perform physical requirements.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance and supply delivery; room turnover; equipment setup and routine housekeeping to maintain a clean, safe environment.
• Perform minor repairs and restock equipment; assist other technicians as needed.
• Provide security support as needed.
• Transport patients and/or specimens as required.
