Job summary

Lincoln Property Company is seeking a Building Engineer I to maintain and operate building systems in our Arlington, VA portfolio. You will perform routine maintenance, respond to tenant requests, and support senior engineers to ensure safe, efficient operations.

You’ll work on HVAC, electrical and plumbing systems, perform inspections, replace components, and document activities; while developing technical skills through mentorship and on-the-job training, with a strong emphasis on safety and

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of job-related experience or commensurate certification/trade experience.
• Engineering and trade licenses required per local, state, or national requirements.
• CFC Certification preferred and basic familiarity with HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled maintenance, repairs, and inspections of building systems.
• Address service requests, including HVAC, plumbing, and lighting issues.
• Troubleshoot minor equipment malfunctions and escalate as needed.
• Replace light fixtures, filters, and other components.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections and equipment performance.
