Job summary

Atlantic Valve Services in Swedesboro, NJ is seeking a Facilities Supervisor to lead safety, inventory control, and facility operations at our Swedesboro location. This hands-on leadership role ensures a safe, compliant, and efficient work environment while supporting shop and shipping operations.

Responsibilities include overseeing QESH programs, audits, and corrective actions; supervising machinists and shipping staff; and maintaining building and equipment maintenance, inventory accuracy, and

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate or bachelor's degree preferred.
• 2-3 years of experience running a QESH program.
• 2-3 years of experience coordinating or supervising a shop environment.
• Experience as a facility and/or warehouse supervisor preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word and Excel).
• Demonstrated safety leadership, organization, communication, attention to detail, and problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Oversee site QESH requirements per Site Safety Manual, Emerson, and OSHA.
• Lead routine facility safety inspections and drive continuous safety improvement.
• Coordinate corrective actions from safety audits and investigations.
• Supervise machinists and shipping personnel; ensure customer needs are met.
• Maintain building and equipment maintenance schedules and coordinate services.
• Monitor shop supplies, inventory levels, and inter-department workflows.
