Job summary

Lancaster Campus is seeking an Experienced Facilities Supervisor to oversee the physical and mechanical upkeep of our property in the Statesboro area. You will report to the General Manager and lead a maintenance team to ensure high standards and tenant satisfaction.

Key duties include scheduling capital improvements, managing bids and outside contractors, repairing appliances and boiler systems, and maintaining safety and cleanliness across the property.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; additional education preferred.
• HVAC certification is required.
• Electrical certification (commercial and residential) preferred.
• Universal certification to be obtained within one year of hire.
• Licensed pool operator if the community maintains a pool, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the property's interior and exterior cleanliness and painting.
• Perform mechanical work and code-related tasks; handle fire alarm checks and in-house capital improvements.
• Schedule and manage capital improvement projects and apartment work; obtain bids and supervise contractors.
• Repair appliances (refrigerators, stoves, dishwashers) and obtain quotes for replacements.
• Maintain boiler machinery with monthly inspection reports; manage snow removal when applicable.
• Order pool supplies and ensure proper maintenance where applicable.
• Maintain tenant relations; inform GM of issues; manage maintenance staff including night/weekend shifts.
• Ensure timely and professional completion of work orders; hire/terminate maintenance staff with GM input; coordinate payroll.
