Qualifications

• High school diploma required; additional education preferred
• HVAC certification
• Certification in electrical (commercial and residential)
• Universal certification to be obtained within one year of hire
• Valid driver’s license and current automobile insurance
• Licensed pool operator if the community maintains a pool
• Minimum of two years supervisory experience preferred
• Excellent customer service skills and strong interpersonal abilities

Responsibilities

• Maintain physical and mechanical upkeep of the property
• Perform in-house mechanical work and code checks
• Schedule capital improvement projects and manage progress
• Set project scope, obtain bids, and oversee outside contractors
• Repair appliances and boiler systems; run monthly inspections
• Snow removal and pool supplies management where applicable
• Maintain strong tenant relations and inform General Manager of issues
• Oversee night and weekend maintenance staff and payroll handling
