Qualifications

• 5-7 years hands-on technical experience in facility maintenance or related field
• 2-3 years supervisory/lead technician experience
• Proven troubleshooting and repair skills for building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing)
• Valid driver's license with clean record
• Trade licenses/certifications in HVAC, electrical, or plumbing as required by local jurisdiction
• Strong proficiency with maintenance management software and digital work order systems
• Ability to read technical drawings, schematics, and manuals
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varied conditions
• Ability to climb ladders/scaffolding and work in confined spaces
• Strong communication to coordinate across teams and interact with clients
• Commitment to workplace safety and regulatory compliance

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily maintenance team activities: assignments, scheduling, performance management; provide hands-on leadership for troubleshooting and repairs
• Oversee preventive maintenance programs; ensure safety standards and regulatory compliance
• Manage work order systems to track and prioritize facility needs
• Interpret drawings, schematics, and manuals to diagnose issues and plan repairs; conduct QA inspections
• Train and mentor technicians; respond to emergencies and coordinate urgent repairs to minimize downtime
• Maintain documentation of activities, equipment records, and inventory; coordinate with vendors/contractors for specialized work
