Job summary

Pyramid Global Hospitality is opening the Virginia Guesthouse, a 214-room hotel with 25,000 sq ft conference space, on the Grounds of the University of Virginia. We seek a Facilities Supervisor to support the Director of Facilities and maintain operations, equipment, and safety across the property.

The role requires relevant vocational/technical training and at least two years’ hospitality experience, with supervisory responsibilities and ability to read blueprints.

Qualifications

• Two years’ experience in a similar position in hospitality.

Responsibilities

• Assist Director of Facilities and supervise facilities team.
• Respond to guest maintenance requests and resolve needs promptly.
• Assist in training, motivating, and supporting facilities staff to ensure quality service.
• Organize meetings and maintain records related to Property Operations.
• Develop and monitor engineering supplies, parts, and inventories; manage purchase orders.
• Coordinate with outside contractors; ensure life safety and EMS systems compliance.
