Job summary

Lancaster Campus in Tucson is seeking an Experienced Facilities Manager to oversee the physical and mechanical upkeep of our property. You will lead painting, cleaning, mechanical work, and coordinate capital projects while ensuring safety and tenant satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; additional education preferred.
• HVAC certification required; electrical certification preferred.
• Universal certification to be obtained within one year of hire.
• Valid driver’s license and automobile insurance.
• Pool operator license if applicable.
• Minimum of two years supervisory experience preferred.
• Excellent customer service and strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to communicate instructions clearly.

Responsibilities

• Maintain property painting and cleaning, both interior and exterior.
• Perform mechanical work, code checks, fire alarm tests, and in-house upgrades.
• Schedule capital projects and apartment work.
• Define scope, obtain bids, assess contractors, and approve outside work.
• Repair appliances; obtain quotes when needed.
• Maintain boiler machinery and complete monthly inspections.
• Handle snow removal where applicable.
• Order and maintain pool supplies where applicable.
• Maintain good tenant relations; inform GM of issues.
• Manage night and weekend maintenance staff and drivers.
• Ensure timely, professional work orders completion.
• Hire and terminate maintenance staff with GM guidance.
• Ensure payroll is submitted accurately for maintenance staff.
• Collaborate with GM on scheduling and budgeting daily.
