Job summary

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in facilities management or related field, 5+ years in a similar role, and supervisory experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in facilities management or operations.
• Five+ years’ experience in a similar position.
• One+ years’ supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage activities involved in the maintenance of facilities and equipment.
• Responsible for building operations including structural maintenance.
• Responsible for regulatory and building code compliance.
• Direct, supervise and evaluate work activities of department staff.
• Provide staff management including hiring, development, training, performance management and communication to ensure effective and efficient department operation.
• Ensure safe operations and adherence to regulatory requirements.
• Serve as project manager for small scale, short duration projects.
• Develop and manage budget and inventory systems.
• Manage design and renovation projects for a facility.
• Analyze metrics and make recommendations for improvements and solutions to issues identified.
• Initiate and authorize repairs or replacements and prepare related cost estimates.
• Be on-call for building emergencies.
• Responsible for facility operational effectiveness and safety.
