Job summary

Lancaster Campus in Tucson, AZ is seeking an Experienced Maintenance Supervisor to oversee property upkeep, coordinate preventive maintenance, and lead the on-site maintenance team. You will manage capital projects, repair appliances, supervise staff, and ensure tenant satisfaction while coordinating with the General Manager on scheduling and budgets.

Qualifications

• High school diploma; additional education preferred.
• HVAC certification and electrical (commercial/residential) certification.
• Universal certification to be obtained within one year of hire.
• Valid driver''s license and current auto insurance.
• Licensed pool operator if the community maintains a pool.
• Minimum two years supervisory experience.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills; able to communicate instructions clearly.

Responsibilities

• Maintain painting, cleaning, and exterior upkeep of the property.
• Perform mechanical work, code work, fire alarm checks, and in-house capital projects.
• Schedule capital projects and apartment work.
• Set project scopes, obtain bids, check contractors, and approve improvements with outside vendors.
• Repair appliances and boiler systems; complete monthly inspection reports.
• Snow removal where applicable and manage pool-supply inventory.
• Maintain tenant relations; inform GM of issues; supervise night/weekend staff.
• Ensure timely and professional completion of all work orders; payroll for staff.
