Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Facilities Supervisor to lead a multi-site team across housing, dining, recreation, and mission facilities at Starbase, TX. You will manage a diverse set of assets, coordinate with vendors, and drive improvements to minimize downtime for 1,000+ residents and critical Starship operations.

The role requires a strong background in facilities management, leadership experience, and a proven ability to manage budgets and vendor contracts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency diploma
• 3+ years of professional experience with facilities management
• 1+ years of experience leading a team or project
• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, facilities management, or related field
• Experience in multi-family housing, hospitality, or large-scale community operations
• Experience with asset management software and building systems

Responsibilities

• Lead a high-performing team handling facilities operations including maintenance, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, janitorial, landscaping, waste management
• Manage third-party vendors to enforce standards, optimize contracts, and drive cost savings
• Plan and execute strategic site improvement projects aligned with business goals
• Oversee maintenance and installations across housing, lodging, venues, recreation, and education facilities
• Design and implement a proactive preventive maintenance program for launch and support facilities
• Monitor construction projects to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery with no disruption
• Coach and develop maintenance technicians and trades staff
• Prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment and drive continuous improvement
